Ward was born in MonroeLouisiana on 14 April1976. Monroe Christian School is a only private Christian school for children of all ages. She was a student at Ouachita High School to pursue the second semester of her studies. However, she moved to River Oaks High School after the summer. She was also a student at Northeast Louisiana University briefly after the completion of her degree. Ward started modeling at the age of thirteen and left her high school to go to New York. After a few years, she decided to try acting. Initially, in 1970s she played an uncredited character in All My Children. A couple of years later, she was a part of the NBC primetime teen drama Malibu Shores. Ward got her first lead part as a character in Sunset Beach daytime soap opera and portrayed the virginal Meg Cummings. She began a career in movies as Brittany Foster the psychotic character in the horror film The In Crowd. It wasn't a major movie in theaters, but did well on home video and cable. In the following year, Ward starred in a supporting role in the hit movie Shallow Hal. Also, she was a guest on numerous TV shows as well as direct-to-DVD movies. The character in the role of Chloe Kmet was hers in 2009 as she played the mom of a young woman on the ABC Family drama Make It or Break It. In her personal life she got married to the producer David C. Robinson and was blessed with a son named Cameron and David.
